ROLE DETAILS
A leading innovator in Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM) is looking for a hands-on and motivated Service Engineering Junior Specialist to join its growing North American operations. This is a key support role that involves assisting with assembly, installation, and maintenance of advanced 3D printing systems both in-house and on-site at client locations.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting the assembly and preparation of systems at the Austin facility
- Assisting with on-site installation and integration under senior supervision
- Providing basic troubleshooting and technical support during and after deployments
- Collaborating with clients to ensure proper setup and operation of equipment
- Helping manage daily facility tasks such as warehouse organization, inventory checks, and purchasing support
- Contributing to technical documentation and assembly guides
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements alongside the engineering team
- Supporting project logistics, including equipment readiness and shipping coordination
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- 0–2 years’ experience in machinery assembly, maintenance, or technical support within manufacturing environments
- Hands-on skills in mechanical/electrical assembly
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (Rhinoceros a plus)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Robotic Engineering (focus on AM is a plus)
- Full Driving license
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the US
