ROLE DETAILS

My client is seeking to improve medical treatment every day. They specialise in 3D-printing polymers for medical applications. As part of a wider group, they are globally acting in individual patient treatment. Their machines and processes are already used in several hospitals and medical device manufacturer worldwide.

  • Ecosystem Development: Lead efforts to create an integrated automation solution for additive production of medical devices.
  • Control System Design: Develop, implement, and optimize PLC-based control system software and human-machine interfaces (HMI).
  • Project Leadership: Manage projects independently, including planning, resource allocation, and delivery within timelines.
  • Testing and Deployment: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and commissioning of new systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams to define functional requirements and design robust system architectures.
  • External Coordination: Liaise with external partners to align their development contributions with project goals.

EXPERIENCE

    • Over 3 years of experience in PLC programming and machine automation.
    • Proficiency in PLC platforms such as Sigmatek, Siemens, Beckhoff, or B&R.
    • Knowledge of robotics and servo control is an advantage.
    • Familiarity with agile development processes and version control systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational Background: Degree or apprenticeship in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Work Style: Independent, structured, and quality-driven approach, particularly in medical production settings.
  • Soft Skills: Strong team player with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
