PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR 

WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW

ROLE DETAILS

  • Gathering cost prices from suppliers, calculating mark-up and preparing quotations.
  • Running the in-house scheme for delivery of stock items for our clients.
  • research setting up web based ordering scheme for these stock deliveries via intranet or private website.
  • Supervising our junior staff members to ensure deliveries are sent out on time.
  • Order Management – liaising with suppliers & delivery companies, ensuring client deadlines are met.
  • Checking supplier invoices and entering on accounts software.
  • Raising sales invoices & purchase orders.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly.
  • Managing petty cash.
  • Assisting with recruitment of apprentices & other staff.
  • Supporting the Sales Director. 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of sales support or office manager work or similar.
  • Previous experience in the promotional merchandise industry would be an advantage.
  • Attention to detail with figures and written documents.
  • Fluent English both written & spoken, as communicating with clients and suppliers is a key element of the job.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Good typing speed and all round knowledge of computer functions.
  • Confidence & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication & organisational skills.
  • Friendly, trustworthy & reliable
  • Can show initiative and work unsupervised. Able to multi-task.
