ROLE DETAILS

My client is looking for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to bolster their dynamic team, driving the development of software solutions crucial to their organ-on-chip research and development initiatives. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will spearhead various projects, encompassing the design and implementation of laboratory information management systems, databases, and the management of pivotal data essential to their AI/ML advancements.

Tech Stack

• Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, SQL

• Frameworks: Litestar (Python), Appsmith React (JavaScript), Dagster (Python)

• Database: PostgreSQL

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including scientists and engineers, to grasp requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, create, and uphold internal applications and APIs utilizing Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Forge user-friendly and responsive interfaces that expedite data visualization, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Execute backend services and databases using PostgreSQL for secure and efficient handling of scientific data.
  • Enhance application performance and scalability via code refactoring, caching strategies, and database optimization.
  • Conduct meticulous code reviews, develop unit tests, and ensure software quality through continuous integration and deployment.
  • Develop applications and tools adhering to internal compliance and security standards.
  • Remain abreast of emerging technologies and industry benchmarks to propel innovation and refine development methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (2 years) in developing web applications and APIs utilizing Python and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, React, SOAP, REST).
  • Proficiency in database design and SQL, with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL or analogous relational databases.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern frameworks/libraries like React and Vue.js.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in code version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN, Bitbucket) and adeptness in maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Knowledgeable about security practices, design principles, and best practices in software development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adeptness in thriving within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
