APPLICATION TECHNICIAN – MILLING EXPERT

ROLE DETAILS

My client is seeking to improve medical treatment every day. They specialise in 3D-printing polymers for medical applications. As part of a wider group, they are globally acting in individual patient treatment. Their machines and processes are already used in several hospitals and medical device manufacturer worldwide.

They need YOU for their machined based post-processing of 3D-printed products.

EXPERIENCE

•             CAD/CAM programming in SolidWorks.

•             Tooling (Clamping Devices) for complex 3D-printed parts for milling.

•             Milling of demo parts and small test batch series.

•             Commissioning of our newly manufactured 3D-printers. Mainly, this includes performing calibrations and benchmark print jobs.

•             Servicing of our inhouse 3D-printer fleet.

•             You are a self-employed and responsible person. You have fun in interdisciplinary working and as well as you are a team player.

•             You are motivated to push limits and accept the challenge to find new approaches in milling 3D-printed parts.

QUALIFICATIONS

•             Completed apprenticeship in cutting machine operator (Zerpanungsmechaniker) or similar and further education as technician (Techniker/Industriemeister).

•             CAD/CAM experience for complex 3- and 5-axis parts.

•             Good skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams).

•             Fluent in written and spoken English.
