ROLE DETAILS

My client is looking for an Application Engineer who thrives on achieving goals, values teamwork, and understands that synergy enhances overall outcomes. This role is pivotal within their software team, involving daily collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Technical Support, and Marketing. As a key member of the Applications Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in both pre-sales and post-sales activities, engaging closely with colleagues, resellers, and customers. Operating in the field, you will serve as a knowledgeable resource for resellers and customers, addressing inquiries, resolving product-related issues, and staying attuned to market trends and emerging opportunities.

EXPERIENCE

• Conduct software demonstrations and benchmarks for customers and resellers.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with scanner manufacturers.
• Provide training on Geomagic products to their resellers.
• Participate in company events to drive lead generation and enhance brand awareness.
• Contribute actively to the overall success of the EMEA team.
• Share market feedback to help strengthen their software products.
• Attend regular Geomagic software certification training sessions in EMEA.
• Maintain updated records of activities in CRM systems.
• Undertake special projects as required.
• Develop and deliver presentations.
• Anticipate 25-50% travel requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5 years of sales experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in CAD.
• Familiarity with 3D scanning technologies.
• Understanding of metrology workflows.
• Experience in reverse engineering.
• Background in manufacturing processes.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluent in German.
• Fluent in English.
