THE JOB

  • A demonstrated and strong record of accomplishment in capital equipment sales, qualifying new opportunities and growing existing customers.
  • Effectively develops and manages customer opportunities to closure within the defined territory.
  • Provides focused sales expertise, return on investment (ROI), and lead development relating to our sales process.
  • Drive and Manage prospect development, sales calls, product demonstrations, proposals, and bid preparations for Production Series 3D Printer product family and associated accessories.
  • Quarterly personal Production Sales quota achievement.
  • Develop a Production sales and marketing business plan for assigned region including major accounts/customers.
  • Develop and manage sales funnel by monitoring funnel growth, accuracy and conversion in Salesforce.
  • Provide forecast and manufacturing requirement matrix weekly
  • Ensure that training, resources and equipment goals/requirements are offered by all VARs as required when they find Production Sales Opportunities.
  • Assist VARs in identifying qualifying Production 3D Printer opportunities (i.e. cold call, webinars, seminars, association, events)
  • Play a key support role in the development of Major Account, special applications, vertical and marketing presentations.
  • Manage current house and direct accounts to develop expansion, growth or exchange programs.
  • Play a key support role in the development of marketing, sales and support programs for current and future sales, products and other initiatives.
  • Participate in all team meetings, training, functions, and events

EXPERIENCE

Education and Training

  • BS/BA degree in business and/or technology, or equivalent experience

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5+) or more years' successful hardware/capital equipment sales.
  • Above average record of success demonstrated by over achievement of sales quota, awards, sales ranking, etc.
  • Experience with all aspects of a direct and VAR based sales process.
  • Experience managing major accounts and working at multiple management levels.
  • Experience in 3D Printing, CAD Software, and or Manufacturing is a strong benefit.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, margins and percentages.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as budgetary information, procedure manuals, product data, etc.
  • Knowledge of various customer recruiting techniques and methodologies.
  • A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of, and communicate, new technology trends, manufacturing processes and applications.
  • Must have strong negotiation, analytical, business relationship, people management, and strategic development/planning skills.
  • Solid and proven skills in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of 3D printing market, product positioning, and competitive awareness preferred.
  • Solid skills in planning and organization with an ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated with strong and driven work ethic.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, presentation and verbal).
