JOB DETAILS

A leading European manufacturer of large-format industrial 3D printers is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing R&D team.

This is a key technical role involving product development, mechanical design, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-tech, innovative environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing and supervising mechanical systems for advanced FFF 3D printers
• Creating and reviewing detailed technical documentation and drawings
• Developing new products and mechanical design solutions from concept to implementation
• Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments
• Participating in the entire product development cycle, from prototyping to production
• Supporting continuous product improvement and innovation initiatives
• Coordinating engineering activities and ensuring compliance with quality standards

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design
• Strong ability to read, create, and interpret technical drawings
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
• Hands-on experience with workshop tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and procurement functions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education – Higher technical education in Mechanics, Machine Design, or a related field
• Languages – Communicative English required
• Category B driving license
• Knowledge of 3D printing technology
• Familiarity with MES systems
